Description	As part of the Quality Assurance and Validation team, the Process Engineer will help with the development and improvement of equipment and facility systems for peptide production. The Process Engineer will help with the design of equipment and support for existing equipment. The Process Engineer must maintain good records of the process development performed and be detail oriented. This position will be based in Torrance, California directly reporting to the Quality Assurance Director. Essential Job Responsibilities: The selected individual will be responsible for the engineering support of process development activities within the GMP Production areas and facilities and technology transfer areas as they relate to the evaluation and subsequent commercialization of synthetic peptide production. Requirements	An Doctor degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering or equivalent, an MS is highly desirable; however, proven ability and relative experience will be the deciding factors. 3-5 years of professional experience as a Process Engineer in a Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
